In Sambor, a 6-year-old boy accidentally injured his 4-year-old sister with an air rifle

A tragic incident involving children took place in the city of Sambir, Lviv region. According to the police, a 6-year-old boy accidentally shot his 4-year-old cousin in the head with an air rifle.

According to preliminary data, the children were playing in the grandmother's storeroom, where they found an unlocked weapon. An accidental shot occurred during the game.

The girl was promptly hospitalized, doctors confirm that there is no threat to her life.

Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation to determine why the weapon was in the reach of children. The issue of holding adults accountable for negligence is also being resolved.
