People's deputy from the "Servant of the People" faction, Fedir Venislavskyi, announced the intention of the parliament to resolve the issue of the mobilization of conscripts who have not yet reached the age of 25. This became relevant after the abolition of the status of "limited fit", which gave rise to a conflict in the definition of compulsory military service.
He explained that after the abolition of the status of "limited fit" there was a conflict, when former "limited fit" under the age of 25, who became "fit", are mobilized, and healthy conscripts of the same age have a deferral until 25 years.
"There is an understanding of a certain social injustice, when citizens under the age of 25, who are fully fit for military service, cannot be mobilized, and those who for various reasons were recognized as having limited fitness during wartime, after the cancellation of limited fitness, are recognized as fit for military service and can be mobilized," said Venislavskyi.
