In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a man who on December 23 launched fireworks directly from the window of a residential building in the Podilsky district. This was reported by the metropolitan police, in addition to the fact that the violator's actions outraged the neighbors and violated public order.
As the police found out, the fireworks were launched by a local resident from the window of an apartment on the 11th floor of a multi-story building. According to the police, the man was intoxicated.
"The stuntman behaved aggressively, and explained his actions that he was relaxing and set off fireworks for fun," the police said.
The police detained the man in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and physical evidence was seized from his apartment.
According to the specified fact, the investigators initiated criminal proceedings initiated under Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism.
According to the legislation, pyrotechnics, salutes, fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited during the legal regime of martial law.
