"During the year, field meetings were held in the communities of Stryi region to better familiarize themselves with the condition and uniqueness of local monuments. The main goal is to study the cultural characteristics of the communities and develop an optimal strategy for preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the region," the department noted.
The Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit is a functioning wooden church of the Boykovo type, built in 1804, as evidenced by an inscription on the log cabin. A bell tower was built near the church in 1877. Until 1939, the church was cared for by the brothers Barons Gredli from Skoly. Today, both buildings are architectural monuments of national importance.
Restoration work is aimed at preserving the historical and cultural heritage and supporting the tourist attractiveness of the region.
