A tragic incident occurred in the village of Suprunivka near Poltava - a grenade exploded in the Opel car, causing a driver who, according to preliminary data, was a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine.
According to local media, the event happened in the morning. Rescuers, police and criminalists went to the place. The car completely burned, and inside the police found the body of a man who was very burned.
According to unofficial information, a local resident who served in the National Guard was killed. One of the versions now being considered by the investigation, - a man's M67 grenade exploded in his hand. The explosive device probably stood inside the car, which led to the fire and instant death of the serviceman.
Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy, finding out how a grenade was in a man, and what caused her explosion. The Poltava district police conducts investigative actions and awaits the results of the examination.
