In Truskavets, Lviv region, a group of teenagers took hooligan actions against an 18-year-old boy with disabilities, shooting their bulk on video. The incident happened on March 19 at about 8:00 pm on Mazepa Street. This was reported in the General Directorate of the National Police of the region.
According to preliminary data, four girls and one guy between 11 and 14 years of age participated in the crime. They are all residents of Truskavets. Teenagers posted a video of their actions on one of the social networks, which caused widespread public resonance.
The police have already established persons of all participants of the incident and started criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The guilty is threatened with the restriction of liberty up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
The pre -trial investigation is currently underway. Law enforcement officers conduct children survey in the presence of their parents and psychologist, as well as establish all the circumstances of the event. It is known that the victim was moral and psychological trauma.
This case caused a wave of indignation among local residents and social networks. Many users require a rigid punishment for the culprits and more attention to the problem of bullying among minors.
Law enforcement officers urge parents to be attentive to the behavior of their children, and remind that bullying and violence are unacceptable in any form. The investigation is ongoing and appropriate decisions on further actions against teenagers who have committed the offenses will be made in the near future.
