In Vinnitsa, two entrepreneurs will stand up with a fraud with funds for fire safety. According to the regional police, businessmen have concluded a fictitious contract with an educational institution to install a polyethylene fire tank, but after receiving UAH 590 thousand, they did not perform any work.
The investigation found that entrepreneurs were in force by prior conspiracy. They simply appropriated the money. The indictment under Article 190 (4) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (a particularly large fraud or organized by an organized group) has already been transferred to court.
Violators are threatened with three to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
This case is another example of abuse of budgetary funds allocated for safety in educational institutions during the war.
