BILD expert Yulian Repke said that the Armed Forces had no air defense equipment left in the Chasovoy Yar area. In addition, the entire Russian Federation occupied 30% of the city of Krasnohorivka.
The analyst came to this conclusion after studying a video from the scene of the battles, in which a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft attacked Chasiv Yar, flying over the village of Ivanovske, for which battles are currently ongoing. The plane flew at a low altitude from the direction of Bakhmut and approached the positions of the ZSU by less than 3 km and released thermal traps. But there were no attempts to shoot down the Russian attack aircraft, and it flew back towards Bakhmut.
Repke called this video "dramatic". "A few months ago, it was unimaginable that a Russian attack aircraft would fly over a city controlled by the Armed Forces, and not be shot down with MANPADS," the analyst said.
He noted that thousands of American Stinger MANPADS and their counterparts from the USSR were allegedly in service with the Armed Forces. "But it seems they are over. It is very worrying that Ukraine apparently has no anti-aircraft missiles left to defend itself here," Röpke said.
In addition, the publication reported that the Russian occupiers occupied 30% of the city of Krasnohorivka. Repke recalled that previously the Russians had successfully used a "turtle tank" there, thanks to which they managed to enter the city. And by now, according to the analyst, they already control 30% of its territory.
