The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) officially stated that the information about the composition of the Ukrainian national team, which was "merged" on the eve of the match with Bosnia and Herzegovina, is unreliable. In the official statement of the UAF, it is emphasized that the list of players for the Euro 2024 qualifying play-off against the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was provided to the organizers on February 26.
This is stated on the official website of the UAF. The association added that the coaching staff of the national team of Ukraine under the leadership of Serhiy Rebrov will announce the names called up for preparation for the key matches of the continental championship qualification during the current working week.
"It was agreed with the Ministry of Youth and Sports that the list of players is preliminary and is not the official composition of the team for the meeting with Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will take place on March 21 in Zenica. Thus, the list of players published the day before by the domestic media based on the document posted on the official website of the Ministry of Youth and Sports is not the actual composition of the national team of Ukraine, which will prepare for the upcoming matches," the UAF informed.
We will remind, according to the version of the Ministry of Sports, the Ukrainian national team is registered for the game with the Bosnians in the following composition:
