On August 21, the members of the Ukrainian band "Budmo" received summons right during the concert, which took place in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. This event was not only a surprise for the musicians, but also caused a great resonance among their fans.
As "Halytskyi Korespondent" reports, the musicians not only received summonses on stage, but also quickly passed the military medical commission. After that, the leader of the group, Rostislav Koval, shared a photo on Facebook, where he and his colleagues were already posing in military uniform. According to Koval, all members of the band deliberately decided to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, the 102nd separate territorial defense brigade.
"In this difficult time for our country, we consciously made a decision to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! From today we are soldiers of the 102nd OBrTrO. Behind 279 charity concerts in support of the Armed Forces! We promise that we will continue to delight you with new songs and we believe that you will be able to see us on stage, but in a new role! Thank you for your support! We believe in our victory. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes," Koval wrote on his page.
This news caused an outpouring of support and approval from the band's fans. Many note the musicians' patriotism and their willingness to defend Ukraine not only on the cultural front, but also directly on the battlefield.
It is worth noting that the band "Budmo" is known for its songs, such as "Lead me", "Vishenka chereshenka", "Koroleva", and during the war, the musicians held more than two hundred charity concerts in support of the Ukrainian army. After the draft, the band canceled all planned concerts, and the musicians themselves are probably currently undergoing military training.
In addition to Rostyslav Koval, the team also includes Mykola Dutchak, Nazar Levinsky and Mykhailo Vorobchuk. They promised to continue their creative activity in new conditions, because the belief in the victory of Ukraine remains unchanged.
