More than 60 cruise missiles and more than 10 Daggers that attacked Kyiv were destroyed
According to Serhiy Popko, the head of the KMVA, the air alert lasted almost 6 hours in total. At first, the enemy launched about one and a half dozen Shaheds on the capital of Ukraine. And after them, more than a dozen Tu-95MS strategic bombers took off, which launched Kh-101/Kh555Kh-55 cruise missiles in groups and waves.
At the same time as the missiles landed on Kyiv, more than ten MiG-31K aircraft launched Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles at the capital.
"All Shahed UAVs and more than 6 dozen X-101/X555X-55 missiles and a dozen X-47M2 "Kinjal" were hit by air defense forces and means (final type and number will be given by PS)," Popko wrote.
As a result of such a massive missile attack in the capital, there is destruction of residential buildings, damage to infrastructure. There are victims. The consequences are particularly dire in the Solomyan district, where multi-story residential buildings caught fire. The fire trapped people on the floors. The emergency services were unblocking and evacuating people.
In particular, as a result of the massive attack in Kyiv, six districts were affected, where 7 fires broke out, namely in Obolonskyi, Pecherskyi, Podilskyi, Solomyanskyi, Svyatoshynskyi and Desnyanskyi.
Yes, the Russians shelled a high-rise building in the Solomyan district. More than 130 people were evacuated there. About 20 people were rescued by emergency workers from blocked premises.
In total, more than 20 wounded people were recorded in the capital.
Consequences of the missile attack on other areas:
- in Desnyan district, there is a supermarket fire;
- non-residential premises were damaged in Darnytsia district;
- in the Holosiivskyi district, the fall of remains in an open area;
- in Pechersk district - on the roof of a 9-story residential building; for another high-rise building and a private house;
- in the Obolonskyi district, there is a fire in a residential building, debris falling on the territory of non-residential buildings and warehouses:
- in Sviatoshyn district - for non-residential development;
- there is a fire on the territory of the market in Podilsk district; a gas pipe, water mains were damaged and approximately 6 cars were involved; and the remains fell on non-residential buildings. It is also possible for a residential building to catch fire.
- Shevchenkivskyi district - remains falling into an open area.
Kyiv region
In the Kyiv region, Boryspil, Buchan, and Fastiv districts were affected.
In particular, the fire at Fastivskyi's apartment building was eliminated. Two people died.
In addition, 5 apartment buildings and more than 40 cars were damaged in Vyshnevo. 7 people were injured.
Kharkiv
Arrivals in Kharkiv fell on the city center. It is known about at least four strikes in the Shevchenkiv district. One person died. 41 injured. Much destruction of civil infrastructure.
The number of victims in Kharkiv increased to 44.
A 91-year-old woman died as a result of enemy rocket attacks on the center of Kharkiv. It is also known about 44 victims. Among them are 5 children: 3 boys aged 9; girls 6 and 13 years old. The injured children have explosive injuries, bruises, acubarotraumas, acute reactions to stress.
24 women aged 19 to 84 and 15 men aged 24 to 60 were also injured.
Currently, 28 patients are in hospitals, including 3 children. Doctors assess their condition as average.
