The State Border Service of Ukraine (SPSU) spoke about the activity of evaders who will try to illegally cross the border with Romania and Moldova. After the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the number of such attempts increased significantly.
The border with Romania is 613.8 kilometers long and with Moldova 939 kilometers long.
Assistant to the head of the State Border Service, press secretary Andriy Demchenko told about it. We would like to remind: due to the martial law, the departure of conscripted citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60 is prohibited.
Demchenko admitted that now the State Security Service records attempts to illegally cross the state border every day and detains violators every day.
"On some days and periods there may be more such attempts, on other days and periods - less. But in general, during the martial law (compared to how it was before February 24, 2022), there were significantly more of them," said the press secretary of the DPSU.
