Ukrainians received 232 million hryvnias in cashback for purchases of Ukrainian-made goods in November. This is almost twice as much as in October, and the average payment per person has increased from 97 to 116 hryvnias, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reports.
The cashback program continues to gain popularity. The number of participants increased by 800,000 and currently has almost 2 million people. The most active participants are Ukrainians under the age of 45, who make up 60% of all users, 24% are middle-aged participants, and 16% are over 60 years old.
In total, 1,665 manufacturers participate in the program, and cashback is available for 360,000 Ukrainian-made goods that can be purchased in stores participating in the program, including leading national retail chains, pharmacies, gas stations, and regional chains.
According to the terms of the program, cashback is calculated in the amount of 10% for purchases of Ukrainian goods that are on a special list. Funds are sent to the National Cashback payment card, which can be activated through the "Action" application. The amount of cashback cannot be withdrawn in cash, but it can be used to pay for utilities, medical expenses, books, medicines, as well as to support charitable initiatives, in particular the Armed Forces.
Almost 700,000 citizens did not receive payments because they did not activate cashback cards in the Diya application or did not accumulate at least 2 hryvnias. The total amount of cashback that was not received is 48 million hryvnias.
Cashback payments for December and January will be made at the end of February 2025. This is due to budgetary features, but all accrued funds will be paid in full. Program participants are advised to activate their cards in the "Action" application in a timely manner so as not to miss payments.
