Ukrainian designers are actively working on a new long-range drone missile called Trembita, which can hit targets at great distances, including deep inside Russia. According to information provided by The Telegraph , the technology will take about a year to complete.

At the same time, the publication notes that Trembita will not be as accurate, powerful, and will not have such penetrating power as ATACMS, Storm Shadow, or SCALP.
Therefore, although it is being developed so as not to depend on the range of Western missile supplies, it will not be able to hit similar targets. A Trembit salvo will be able to successfully hit, for example, a large production facility. But not an underground bunker. But it will be significantly cheaper. ATACMS costs over a million dollars.
While the development of a long-range version of Trembita is ongoing, Ukraine is preparing to begin mass production of its basic model, which has a range of 150 km with a 20-kilogram warhead and a low cost of about $10,000.
