Ukrainians are in for a significant change in weather conditions this week. After several days of warmth, when the temperature will reach +20° and above, the country will be covered with rains and thunderstorms, and by the end of the week, a sharp cold snap will return.
Dry and very warm weather is expected on March 10-11. The temperature will rise to +13°…+18°, and in the west – to +22°. Local precipitation is possible only in the Volyn region.
Thunderstorms from March 12
Heavy rains with thunderstorms will begin in Ukraine on March 12. Precipitation will occur mainly in the northeast, but the temperature will remain high - +15°…+20°.
The next day, March 13, the rainy zone will expand to the west, north, Vinnytsia and Kharkiv regions. The air will warm up to +15°…+22°, although sunny weather will still prevail in the south and east.
On March 14, precipitation will almost stop, and the temperature will remain at +21°.
Sharp cooling over the weekend
With the arrival of March 15-16, a cold front will break into Ukraine. It will become cloudy in many regions, with rain in places.
- In the west and north, the temperature will drop to +4°…+9°.
- In the central regions, +9°…+14° is expected.
- It will remain warmer in the south and east – +15°…+19°, and in Crimea – up to +21°.
Forecasters predict that after the cold snap, temperatures will rise again and precipitation will stop. However, new waves of bad weather are possible towards the end of March.
