Ukraine forms new mechanized brigades

Ukraine is actively forming new mechanized brigades, which indicates a strategic calculation and calculation for a long war with the Russian Federation. This decision, Forbes reports, demonstrates that the Ukrainian side does not expect a quick end to the conflict and is preparing for a long struggle to restore its territories.

The publication writes that the creation of these brigades depends on successful mobilization and foreign assistance. According to Militaryland, the training of the new brigades will take place abroad, and many recruits are planned to be recruited among Ukrainians living in other countries.

Ukraine needs to mobilize enough soldiers to make up for losses and create new units, a daunting task for a country with a population of 38 million that already maintains an army of about a million, Forbes notes.
