Ukraine is forming new mechanized brigades

Ukraine is actively forming new mechanized brigades, which indicates a strategic calculation and calculation for a long war with the Russian Federation. This decision, Forbes reports, demonstrates that the Ukrainian side does not expect a quick end to the conflict and is preparing for a long struggle to restore its territories.

As the publication writes, the creation of these brigades depends on successful mobilization and foreign aid. According to Militaryland, training of new brigades will take place abroad, and many recruits are planned to be recruited among Ukrainians living in other countries.

Ukraine needs to mobilize enough soldiers to replace losses and create new units. This is a difficult task for a country with a population of 38 million, which already supports an army of about a million people, Forbes notes.
