Our source in the security structures reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy was dissatisfied with yesterday's operation, which was carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Security Service of Ukraine. It involved a massive drone attack on Russian territory, as well as the implementation of sabotage measures.
According to the source, this time Ukraine tried to set a record for the number of assets involved - dozens of aerial drones, as well as naval assets and missiles, were launched into the sky. In addition, sabotage operations were planned on enemy territory.
However, the operation was not as successful as expected. Much of the prepared scenario failed, and the results of the strikes look weak. There is not even the large-scale and "beautiful picture" that the Office of the President was counting on to demonstrate the effectiveness of the defense forces' actions.
Zelensky, according to the source, reacted sharply to the interim results and remained dissatisfied with both the level of organization and the final effect.
This case once again highlights the complexity of conducting asymmetric warfare and the high expectations for the use of drones and sabotage. At the same time, it exposes a major problem - the overreliance on symbolic "striking images" that are supposed to work on the information front.
