Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, during his visit to the United States, stated that Ukraine is not ready for compromises with Russia that involve territorial concessions in exchange for an end to the war in Donbas.
He says Kyiv is ready to listen to all options.
“But we are not ready to compromise for the sake of very important things and values… independence, freedom, democracy, territorial integrity, sovereignty,” Yermak said.
When asked how Ukraine assesses Trump's ability to end the war, Yermak said: "Honest answer: I don't know. We'll see.".
Previously, Zelensky did not mention the return of territories among the conditions for ending the war.
