Ukraine is preparing for a possible powerful missile strike from Russia amid the ongoing offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ASU) on the Kursk region. The British newspaper The Times reported on these expectations, citing a source in the Ukrainian command.
According to him, some objects in Kyiv, including the parliament and other government buildings, may be hit by Russian missile fire.
“Russia feels the need to give a tough response to show the world that it is omnipotent. And that something like Kursk will not go unpunished,” the source said, adding that the Ukrainian side is preparing for the arrival of “hundreds of missiles.”.
