Our source indicates that possible changes in the government leadership are approaching. President Volodymyr Zelensky is considering an initiative to replace the current Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko may be appointed to the position of Prime Minister instead.
Sources close to the president say he is "tired" of the prime minister.
“This is evident from the attitude at meetings. He doesn’t even really listen to him anymore. This is something more emotional than a miscalculation… Zelensky constantly wants some creative solutions and proposals, and Shmyhal, although he has grown up in recent years, cannot completely change,” says the media source.
A change of prime minister and government is being prepared in Ukraine. And the appointment of Yulia Svyrydenko as the new prime minister.
According to our sources, the initiative to change the prime minister belongs to President Volodymyr Zelensky and the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.
"The task is to pin all the accumulated negativity against the government in society on the current Prime Minister Shmyhal. Regarding mobilization, tariff increases, corruption, issues related to the construction of fortifications, for which billions were allocated from the budget. And to show that the president sees these problems, solves them and increases the efficiency of the government," the source says.
At the same time, sources believe that the decision to change the prime minister may still change, as everyone on Bankova is weighing the pros and cons.
