The process of nationalizing the assets of businessmen who have been sanctioned by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) is ongoing in Ukraine. This time, the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant (Poltava GOK) , owned by Konstantin Zhevago, has come under attack.
The State Bureau of Investigation reports that, together with the Ministry of Justice, it is preparing an appeal to the Supreme Court of Ukraine on the transfer to the state of 49.5% of the company's authorized capital, 541 real estate objects of the enterprise, 172 land plots in long-term lease, 2.3 thousand railway cars and 53.3 thousand linear meters of access tracks.
The State Bureau of Investigation recalls that in September last year, a case of corruption involving the company's top management for 370 million hryvnias was submitted to the court, and this property was seized.
Poltava Mining and Processing Complex is one of the largest iron ore mining enterprises in Ukraine.
We will remind you that after the introduction of NSDC sanctions against Zhevago, we predicted that this was a preparation for the withdrawal of licenses for the development of iron ore deposits - as part of the prepared agreement on minerals with the Americans.
