According to weather forecasters, significant changes in weather conditions are expected in Ukraine in the coming days, including snowfall and ice. The atmospheric front that formed over the Balkans has already brought snowfall to Transcarpathia and the Carpathians, gradually spreading it to other regions of the country. The drop in temperature and strong winds can significantly worsen the situation on the roads, which will create risks for traffic.

According to weather forecaster Olena Palahniuk, the country is preparing for the transition to the winter season, which is reflected in characteristic weather changes.
The atmospheric cyclone front that formed over the Balkans has already caused snowfall in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians. It will continue to spread across Ukraine in the coming days, gradually bringing the country closer to the winter season.
"On Sunday, the front will shift to the east, which will lead to an increase in atmospheric pressure. This will contribute to a decrease in wind speed, as well as the cessation of precipitation almost throughout the territory of Ukraine, with the exception of the eastern and southeastern regions. The sky will become less cloudy," said Olena Palahniuk.
The temperature will remain stable: -2-7 °C is expected at night, around zero during the day. In the western regions, it will be slightly warmer compared to Saturday, and in the southern regions, on the contrary, it will be cooler.
The new week will start with dry weather, except for a little snow in the far east of Ukraine.
Forecast for November 24-25
On Sunday, November 24, the atmospheric front will shift eastward, and most areas will remain without precipitation. At the same time, wet snow with sleet and ice is forecast in the eastern and southeastern regions. The temperature at night will be -2-7 °C, during the day around zero. In the Carpathians, light snow is forecast with a night temperature of -6-11 °C and a daytime temperature of -1-6 °C.
On Monday, November 25, cloudy weather with clearings will prevail throughout Ukraine, without significant precipitation. Light snow is possible only in the far east. The temperature will drop to -2-7 °C at night, and will remain close to zero during the day.
Forecasters warn of icy roads, especially in the northern and western regions, so drivers should be careful. The wind will be mainly north and north-west, and in the western regions south, with a speed of 5-10 m/s.
Particular attention should be paid to the eastern and southern regions, where wet snow and ice are expected in places. Difficult conditions are possible in the Carpathians due to a drop in temperature and light snow.
Ukraine is gradually adapting to the winter climate, and the new season promises to be a stable start to the cold season.
