At night, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a missile attack on the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning briefing. According to their information, the strike became "group" and was aimed at destroying the enemy's military infrastructure.
It is stated that the radar station of the S-400 complex was hit.
The Russian authorities did not confirm the damage to the complex, but reported that two missiles and 27 drones were shot down over the Kursk region at night. Telegram channels published a video with the sound of a loud explosion.
Neither Ukraine nor Russia officially specified the type of missiles.
At the same time, some members of the public, both from the Ukrainian and Russian sides, assumed that the attack was carried out by ATACMS missiles. But no confirmations have been received so far.
