The Defense Forces of Ukraine have clear strategic plans for the de-occupation of Crimea and the destruction of the Crimean Bridge, as Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), stated in an interview for "Kyiv 24". According to Yusov, Crimea continues to be a key element for Russia's military logistics, as the peninsula is used as a large military base.
Yusov emphasized that the Ukrainian forces are not revealing the details of their plans, but are ready for decisive action. "And how long will the Crimean bridge live? We would all like to look at the clock and say that there are still 15 minutes left. The reality is more complicated. Undoubtedly, the security and defense forces have plans for the de-occupation of Ukrainian lands and the peninsula, as well as the destruction of all things that prevent this," Yusov said.
The representative of GUR also emphasized the strategic importance of Crimea for Russia. "This is still a large and important territory from the point of view of military logistics, from the point of view of supply," Yusov explained. He also noted the effectiveness of previous strikes and assured that Ukrainian forces will continue their work without making announcements about future actions.
Yusov made it clear that Ukraine is ready to take decisive steps to restore its territorial integrity and ensure the security of the state. These plans include not only military operations, but also strategies aimed at neutralizing the infrastructure that supports Russia's military operations in the region.
