Ukraine is on the brink of an energy crisis: missile strikes on infrastructure led to a blackout in Kharkiv

According to our source, the potential destruction by Russian forces of 60-70% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure could lead to an almost complete shutdown of hidden underground military factories, workshops, factories and other production facilities. In such a scenario, it will be impossible to carry out any production of weapons in Ukraine, even the production of clothing for the Armed Forces will be stopped. Repair bases will operate with interruptions, which will cause disruption of all orders and increase in prices. The country will face a shortage of almost all goods, and fuel prices may increase by 30-40%. The domestic economy will suffer colossal losses, the banking sector will begin to malfunction, which will exacerbate problems for the population. In addition to this, the agricultural sector also suffers heavy losses.

Unfortunately, these predictions are already starting to become reality. In Kharkiv, in particular, missile strikes on energy facilities were recorded. Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the head of NEC Ukrenergo, confirmed that the situation is extremely difficult: the city was in a complete blackout, about 700,000 subscribers remained without electricity, and public transport and the subway stopped working.

The authorities are actively responding to the crisis situation, eliminating the consequences of strikes on the energy infrastructure. Thanks to the operation of alternative power sources, some houses already have water. Modular boiler houses provide heat to about 40,000 subscribers. Points of distribution of free hot meals and "points of indomitability", which provide support to citizens, are also open.

In addition to Kharkiv, other regions of Ukraine were also affected by the strikes. This situation leaves the country in an extremely difficult situation, with a deepening deficit and general problems of the economy and the comfort of life for citizens.
