Ukraine is successfully testing a new universal robot capable of performing reconnaissance, assault and defense tasks.
This information was revealed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov. "D-21-11 is a universal Ukrainian robot developed by participants of the Brave1 defense cluster. It is equipped with an automatic turret and is capable of performing combat tasks, such as reconnaissance, assault and defense of positions," Fedorov said on social networks.
According to him, this platform can be used to safely deliver ammunition and provisions to hot spots. The combat part of the robot has already been successfully tested and received positive feedback from the military.
The developers' plan is to integrate NATO weapons into the robot and increase resistance to enemy anti-aircraft missiles. The team is currently working on scaling production.
"We continue to technologically strengthen the Ukrainian army, because it is technology that helps to counter the enemy more effectively and save human lives," Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized.
