Ukraine and Hungary did not sign a bilateral agreement: Zelenskyy explained the reason for the refusal

During the last negotiations between Ukraine and Hungary, the parties did not reach an agreement on signing a bilateral agreement. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, explained that the reason for this was the fact that the clause on support for Ukraine's accession to NATO became visible in the document. This issue is fundamental for Kyiv against the background of the ongoing war with Russia and the need to ensure long-term security.

"Ukraine's support to the EU and Hungary's support to Ukraine to NATO are important to us. The document currently does not include Hungary's support of Ukraine to NATO. Since this is not the case, this document is not signed. That's the end of it," the president said at a press conference.
