Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation and Technology Mykhailo Fedorov announced the creation of a new air-to-air air defense system in Ukraine. It is being developed by the Ukrainian company MaXon, which is part of the Brave1 defense cluster.
According to Fedorov, the system is capable of effectively intercepting enemy drones and covering large areas thanks to its own guidance system and high-speed interceptors. The complex is already undergoing combat tests in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, demonstrating a high level of response to air threats.
The development was made possible thanks to the support of the Brave1 defense innovation cluster. The MaXon team has completed the first investment round with the participation of Freedom Fund and Defender Ventures and continues to raise funding to scale production.
Fedorov emphasized that the integration of solutions from different cluster participants allows for the creation of complex technologies that reinforce each other and strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities. "As a result, innovations are born that can change the course of war," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
