The Ukrainian Defense Forces demonstrated excellent training again this night, neutralizing about 15 Russian drones that threatened Kyiv. The night air alert lasted almost five hours, but thanks to the prompt work of the Ukrainian defenders, casualties and destruction were avoided. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMMA), Serhiy Popko, according to UNN.
It was another night of tension for the Ukrainian capital. The Russian army continues to shell peaceful cities, keeping Kyiv among the main targets of its attacks. Despite this, the effective work of the Ukrainian Defense Forces prevented a tragedy. During the night attack, the Russians declared an air alert twice, the total time of which was almost five hours. The enemy used strike drones to attack Kyiv, but all of them were shot down without causing damage to residential buildings or infrastructure.
Serhiy Popko also noted that the Russians have begun to change their tactics in using drones, but Ukrainian defense forces are quickly adapting to new threats. As a result of thoughtful and professional actions, the defenders once again protected the capital, preserving the lives and peace of Kyiv residents.
The Ukrainian military is practicing new methods of countering drones every day to minimize the risks to civilians. Thanks to continuous training and improving tactics, enemy attacks remain ineffective. Kyiv continues to live its life, despite enemy attempts to intimidate the city.
