In recent days, a new wave of discussions has appeared in Ukrainian Telegram channels regarding visits by Ukrainian top officials to Russia after 2014. These statements, supported by the publication of documents allegedly obtained from the Russian FSB border service, have provoked a lively reaction in Ukrainian society and in the political arena.
Although this data has not been officially confirmed by the Ukrainian government, it raises new questions about the possible interaction of Ukrainian officials with Russia after the annexation of Crimea and the start of the war in Donbas.
They mention the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, former Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, former Deputy Head of the Public Prosecutor's Office Andriy Smirnov, and former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yuriy Vaskov.

All of them had their last visits in 2019, when they received their positions following the elections.
It is alleged that Smirnov, suspected by NABU of illicit enrichment, visited the Russian Federation 22 times from 2014 to 2019.

Recently dismissed Prosecutor General Kostin – 11 times, Fedorov – 12 times. Both – shortly before the presidential elections in 2019. Vaskov – 19 times.
