The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, announced this on the NBN YouTube channel. According to him, Ukrainian naval drones continue to improve, including the installation of weapons capable of attacking both surface and air targets. Modernization of unmanned systems based on innovative technologies should guarantee "complete dominance of unmanned naval vessels over traditional warships" in the near future.
Budanov emphasized that this advantage applies not only to open, but also closed or semi-closed water areas, including the Black Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and other regions. He also reminded that a third of the destroyed combat potential of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia is a significant achievement.
