Oleksandr Usyk has entered the top five richest boxers in the world, according to the GiveMeSport portal. According to experts, Usyk's fortune is estimated at $214 million.
What is particularly impressive is that the athlete earned such money after only eight fights in the heavyweight division during his professional career. The biggest income came from the fights with Tyson Fury, in particular the second fight, for which Usyk received about $100 million. Significant fees also provided two meetings with Anthony Joshua and the first fight against Fury.
Despite being 38 years old, Usyk continues to enter the ring and turn every fight into an international financial event. The portal emphasizes that the combination of sportsmanship, consistent victories and super-profitable contracts has allowed the Ukrainian to be among the richest boxers in history.
The leader of the ranking is American Floyd Mayweather with a fortune of $400 million. The top 5 also includes Saul Alvarez (Mexico) - $300 million, George Foreman (USA) - $300 million, Manny Pacquiao (Philippines) - $220 million and Usyk (Ukraine) - $214 million.
