In light of Ukraine’s growing military needs, the United States is considering supplying Ukrainian F-16 fighter jets with advanced missiles with a range of up to 113 kilometers. According to Politico, they could be provided in a new $375 million military aid package that will be announced on Monday, the newspaper reports.

However, “the flight range of 70-plus miles will allow pilots to stay away from the front line and Russian air defenses, giving Kyiv a new way to strike defenses and weapons depots on the front line, complicating the operations of Russian troops.”.
