Ukraine continues to surprise with its defense developments. The arms concern Ukroboronprom has introduced a new drone missile called "Hell" , which has already caused a wide resonance both in Ukraine and abroad.
What is known about 'Hell'?
According to data broadcast on Radio NV, military observer Denis Popovych noted that this weapon is more like a cruise missile, but with reduced parameters. Its characteristics are impressive:
- The flight range is up to 700 kilometers.
- The warhead weighs over 50 kilograms, making it a powerful destructive weapon.
- Speed is approximately 700 km/h.
“This 'Hell' will reach Moscow. If there is a lot of this 'Hell', then it will be hot in Moscow,” Popovich emphasized, hinting at the weapon's potential for striking strategic enemy targets.
Unlike many missiles, the Hellfire will likely be launched from ground-based launchers, making it more flexible in use and less dependent on air support.
The process of developing the drone missile is impressive not only in terms of technical characteristics, but also in terms of the speed of implementation. According to the Minister for Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin, “Hell” was created from scratch in just a year.
Weapons of this level are an important step in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities. Their range and destructive power allow them to strike critical enemy infrastructure, which could affect the course of the war.
