Two more Ukrainian journalists were detained in Poland for filming a story about Warsaw's trade with Russia.
The publication “Rayon.in.ua” claims that on March 7, their editor and cameraman were detained by Polish police while filming the crossing of the border with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation by freight trains and cars.
Their smartphones, cameras, laptops, memory cards, microphones, power banks, and selfie sticks were confiscated. Judging by the publication's report, the equipment was never returned to them.
They say the consul was not informed about the detention, journalists were not allowed to call Ukraine, they were declared persons who threaten Poland's national security, and were expelled. They were brought to the border with Ukraine.
The Poles stated that the reason for the detention was taking photographs of critical infrastructure facilities.
Journalists say they filmed Russian cars with liquefied gas at the border.
We will remind you that at the end of February, journalist Tkach was detained in Poland for filming the same story.
