The Ukrainian youth MMA team won first place at the World Championships held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Ukrainian young athletes impressed the global sports community with their achievements, winning 33 medals in three age categories.
For the fourth time in a row, the best team in the world – in three age categories, Ukrainian representatives of mixed martial arts won 33 medals at the world championship in Abu Dhabi.

The Ukrainian mixed martial arts team took first place overall at the World Championship among children, youth and juniors in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
This is the fourth consecutive achievement: the Ukrainian youth MMA team is the best among 700 athletes from 47 countries around the world.
Ukrainian boys and girls won 33 medals in three age categories:
Gold – 8 medals;
Silver – 10 medals;
Bronze – 15 medals;
Ukraine finished in 22nd place in the medal standings at the 2024 Olympics, its best result in 12 years. The United States won the medal standings, surpassing China in the number of silver medals.
