From December 15 to January 13, Ukrzaliznytsia is forced to temporarily suspend the operation of a number of trains due to technical reasons. In particular, the following trains have been canceled:
- No. 8/7 Odesa – Kharkiv;
- No. 148/147 Odesa – Kyiv;
- No. 774/773 Kyiv – Shostka.
These changes may cause inconvenience to passengers, so the carrier has already taken care of alternative routes. Thus, new flights will be introduced instead of canceled trains:
- Trains No. 105/106 and No. 763/764 between Kyiv and Odessa.
- Train No. 059/060 between Kharkiv and Odessa.
- Trains No. 786/785 and No. 788/787 Kyiv – Shostka.
New routes are also offered for passengers traveling through intermediate stations:
- For Kremenchuk : train No. 129/130 Kremenchuk – Uzhhorod to Kyiv, and then transfer to train No. 105 Kyiv – Odessa. In the opposite direction – Intercity train No. 764 Odessa – Kyiv and regional train No. 792 Kyiv – Kremenchuk.
- For Cherkasy : travel to Odessa via Kyiv with a transfer to train No. 105 Kyiv – Odessa. Return by the same route.
- For Poltava : for trips to Odessa, you can use the Intercity+ train No. 723 Kharkiv - Kyiv, then transfer to train No. 105 Kyiv - Odessa. In the opposite direction - train No. 106 Odessa - Kyiv and Intercity+ train No. 724 Kyiv - Kharkiv.
Thanks to these changes, passengers can continue their journeys, albeit on other routes that guarantee a comfortable journey to their destination.
