The Ukrainian classic, “Shchedryk” (Carol of the Bells), written by Mykola Leontovych over a hundred years ago, has become the musical accompaniment for the new Christmas campaign of the famous French fashion house Chanel. The melody, which has gained popularity around the world, has now become part of the festive presentation of the brand’s new cosmetics collection.
The video dedicated to the holiday cosmetics collection was presented the day before and has already attracted the attention of brand fans around the world.
The main star of the commercial was Italian supermodel Vittoria Ceretti, known as the Victoria's Secret "angel". The video shows a festive atmosphere, which is harmoniously emphasized by Leontovich's music. His "Shchedryk" has long become a symbol of Christmas and a favorite melody in different countries.
