Lesya Nikityuk and her fiancé, military man Dmytro Babchuk, recently baptized their 4-month-old son. The star announced the event on her Instagram, posting a photo before the ceremony began.
The baptism took place in the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral. Lesya Nikityuk noted that for their family this is a very special event, for which they have been preparing for a long time. "The other day, a bright holiday took place in our family. We baptized our son. We prepared very much for this event, because for me personally this is a great sacrament and responsibility," the TV presenter shared.
Lesya's fiancé, Dmytro Babchuk, revealed the boy's name — Oscar. According to Dmytro, the choice of name was special: in his family, men for seven generations were called only Mykhailo or Dmytro, so he decided to name his son differently. "Please congratulate the respected Cossack — Babchuk Oskar Dmytrovych," Dmytro wrote.
For the family, this baptism was an important spiritual event that emphasized the importance of family values and traditions.
