Ukrainian universities have entered the prestigious world ranking

Eleven Ukrainian universities have been included in the prestigious Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025 , published by the British magazine Times Higher Education . The overall list includes 749 universities from 92 countries, which emphasizes Ukraine's competitiveness in the global educational arena.

    • The leader among Ukrainian institutions in the rating.

What are Interdisciplinary Science Rankings?

The ranking evaluates universities according to 11 key performance indicators:

  • Input resources: financing and material resources.
  • Processes: administrative support, infrastructure.
  • Results: quality of publications, citations, academic reputation.

This ranking is especially important for analyzing interdisciplinary research, which is becoming increasingly relevant in the modern scientific world.

World ranking leaders

The leading universities in the world traditionally remain at the top of the ranking:

  1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – USA.
  2. Stanford University – USA.
  3. National University of Singapore (NUS) – Singapore.

The top ten also included:

  • Duke University (USA),
  • University of Minnesota (USA),
  • Wageningen University (Netherlands).

Getting into the prestigious ranking is not only a recognition of the quality of education and research, but also a signal to potential investors and partners about the high level of development of science in Ukraine. It is especially important to maintain and develop international partnerships that help integrate Ukrainian education into the global system.
