On the night of August 25, Russian forces carried out another missile strike on Kramatorsk, injuring three journalists – citizens of Ukraine, the United States, and Great Britain. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
The invaders targeted one of the hotels in the city. According to preliminary data, two journalists were injured, and another person remains under the rubble. The head of the region noted that all three victims work as journalists and are citizens of different countries.
In addition to the hotel, the impact also damaged a neighboring high-rise building. Representatives of the authorities, police, and rescue services are currently working at the scene of the tragedy. The rubble is being cleared and a rescue operation is underway.
This shelling is further evidence that journalists covering events on the frontline remain among the main targets of Russian aggression. Attacks on residential areas and civilian objects once again confirm Russia's disregard for international law.
