In the last few days, Ukraine has seen significant demand for cars, driven by the government's introduction of a bill to introduce a new 15% tax.
As AUTO-Consulting reports, Oleg Nazarenko, Director General of the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Distributors (VAAID), confirmed that Ukrainians are turning to car dealerships en masse and will purchase existing cars before the adoption of the relevant law.
Ukrainians bought up all the cars on display in showrooms in a few days after the government introduced a bill introducing a new 15% tax.
As a reminder, on Thursday, the government submitted to the Rada draft law No. 11416, which provides for the introduction of a 15% military tax upon purchase (first registration) of a car and other additional taxes.
