Body of Ukrainian woman found in forest in Germany: suspect is 17-year-old migrant

In Germany, law enforcement is investigating the death of a 19-year-old Ukrainian citizen whose body was found in a forest area near the city of Mannheim . The incident was reported by Der Tagesspiegel .

According to preliminary investigation data, it is a case of violent death. The circumstances of the tragedy are currently being established, but law enforcement officers have already detained the suspect.

He turned out to be a 17-year-old migrant of Syrian origin who lived near the scene of the incident. According to investigators, he and the deceased had a long-term personal relationship - probably for more than a year.

The investigation is considering the version that the tragedy could have occurred amid a conflict between young people. All the details of the event, as well as the motives and circumstances preceding the incident, are currently being established.

German law enforcement agencies are continuing the pre-trial investigation.
