Ukrainians who have found asylum in Europe face problems in the healthcare systems of their new countries of residence. Despite the fact that refugees who have been granted temporary protection status in the European Union have health insurance, many of them prefer to be treated by Ukrainian doctors rather than in local medical institutions.
Many people don't like the European healthcare system, mainly because of the long waits to see a doctor and get tested. Plus the language barrier.
Therefore, refugees are trying to find Ukrainian doctors, which has already provoked an increase in demand for telemedicine in Ukraine and a real boom in the services of domestic doctors who are currently in the EU.
In some countries (for example, in Italy, Lithuania, etc.) Ukrainian doctors work completely legally - they do not need to confirm their diploma, knowledge of the language is enough. In others (for example, in Germany or France), Ukrainian doctors are often accepted “unofficially”. The same story with cosmetologists, who are ready to do “beauty injections” and other procedures several times cheaper than local ones.
Moreover, there are even underground Ukrainian dentists in Europe who left Ukraine with their equipment.
