Ukrainians need to purchase energy equipment worth 3-4 thousand dollars, – Svyatoslav Pavlyuk

Sviatoslav Pavlyuk, executive director of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine, said that all apartments must purchase energy equipment worth $3,000-4,000. He also accused Ukrainians of not preparing for such a development, emphasizing that the money was spent on various needs, in addition to energy equipment.

“The fact that you have underpaid for electricity for many years can be considered as savings that now need to be spent on an updated energy supply system. I understand that there is no money, but it was spent,” Pavlyuk noted.

According to him, for decades, Ukraine had a tariff that did not sufficiently cover the cost of electricity.
