Ukrainian authorities are preparing for possible negotiations with Russia this fall - media

Ukrainian authorities plan to start preparations for possible negotiations with Russia already this fall. Kyiv Independent reports this, citing a source close to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

According to the source, Ukraine intends to initiate a dialogue with Russia to discuss several key issues. Negotiations on the exchange of prisoners based on the principle of "all for all" are planned as a priority. In addition, issues of food safety and nuclear safety will be discussed.

Currently, the Kremlin expresses skepticism about the prospects for negotiations, especially after the latest attacks by Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. Russian representatives, including President Vladimir Putin, have said that negotiations with Ukraine are impossible during hostilities.
