In the match of the third round of the 2024 World Cup in Division IB, the Ukrainian national hockey team mercilessly defeated the Chinese team with a score of 9:0.
Under the leadership of head coach Dmytro Hristych, the Ukrainian hockey players put on a real show in the first period, scoring four goals. The double result was achieved in the second 20 minutes when their players hit the Chinese goal again. Having finished the match with a strong third period, the Ukrainian hockey players rewarded the opponent's goal with three goals for the second time.
The national team of Ukraine has won the third time in three matches and is leading in Division IB. We will remind, in the opening match, Hristych's team defeated Estonia (8:0), and then dealt with the Netherlands (4:0).
Blue and yellow have two games left to play in the tournament. Ukraine will play against Spain on May 1, and in the last round they will meet with Lithuania on May 3.
The tournament in the IB division takes place in Lithuania. The winner of the tournament will advance to Division IA, the last-place team will be relegated to Division IIA.
