What is known about "Hell"
According to the data broadcast by Radio NV, military observer Denys Popovych noted that this weapon is more like a cruise missile, but with reduced parameters. Its characteristics are impressive:
- The flight range is up to 700 kilometers.
- The warhead is more than 50 kilograms, which makes it a powerful destructive tool.
- The speed is approximately 700 km/h.
"This 'Hell' will fly to Moscow. If there will be a lot of this 'Hell', then it will be hot in Moscow as well," Popovych emphasized, hinting at the potential of the weapon to launch strikes on the enemy's strategic targets.
Unlike many missiles, the Pekla will likely be launched from ground-based launchers. This makes it more flexible to use and less dependent on air support.
The process of developing a rocket-drone impresses not only with its technical characteristics, but also with the speed of implementation. According to Herman Smetanin, Minister of Strategic Industries, "Peklo" was created from scratch in just one year.
