Ukraine is actively working on expanding the area of application of Western weapons

The partners of the Ukrainian state have taken a step towards allowing the use of their weapons on the territory of Russia. However, Ukraine will continue to work on the expansion of this zone. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, during a joint briefing with the head of the Foreign Ministry of Estonia, Margus Tsakhna, in Kyiv.

Kuleba emphasized that this step is important and long-awaited, but Ukraine will work on further expansion of this opportunity. According to him, recent years show that small steps develop into bigger solutions, so Ukraine remains active on this path.

Tsakhna emphasized that from the first days, Estonia did not impose restrictions on Ukraine regarding the use of weapons, as the country has the right to self-defense under international law.

We will remind that on May 31, US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to use American weapons on the territory of Russia to defend Kharkiv. Official confirmation of this was provided by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
